Video Conferencing and TelePresence

Video Conferencing & TelePresence is versatile and can be designed for standard video conferencing, point-to-point or multipoint solutions ranging from desktop to executive offices to mobile conference rooms; live broadcasts and video on demand; live and archived content that can include supplemental content.

Extreme Integration uses Cisco Unified Videoconferencing solutions. Cisco Unified Videoconferencing products provide high performance, flexible, and scalable video conferencing for small to large organizations. Cisco Unified Videoconferencing solutions support multiple protocols (H.323, H.320, SIP, SCCP) to enable connectivity with a broad range of room and desktop video systems and communications environments, including Cisco Unified Communications Manager video telephony and Cisco Unified MeetingPlace and Cisco TelePresence conferencing.

Video Conferencing & TelePresence systems use the standard IP technology and will run on an integrated voice/video/data network.

Systems often include purpose-built office furniture, which incorporate cameras and displays, lighting, speakers, microphones, and projection capability.

TelePresence applications incorporate a range of new and existing standards-based software for accommodating converged voice and video transmissions, including:

IP telephony: It works with IP-based phones and call-processing systems from the major networking and telecommunications vendors.
Groupware: Integration with enterprise groupware solutions (such as Microsoft Outlook and Lotus Notes) accommodates easy scheduling of meetings and access to corporate information.
Services should include easy scheduling, management, reporting, billing, and metrics applications to ensure proper tracking and bill-back of activity on the system, as well as real-time support services.
